관사의 위치
모든 관사는 수식어들 중에 가장 먼저 오는 것이 원칙이다
. She is a smart, pretty, kind woman.
. It is the great, beautiful poem that he has ever written
그러나 다음의 경우는 예외이다.
1. all / both / half / double + the + 명사
. All the people you invited are coming
. Both (of) the women are Koreans.
. Half (of) the fruit was bad.
. She was driving the car at double the speed
2. such / what / quite + a(n) + 형용사 + 명사
. It is such a beautiful day.
. what a nice movie it is.
. It’s quite an interesting story.
주의) We are having such nice weather (weather 앞에는 무관사)
3. so / as / too / how + 형용사 + a(n) + 명사 : 문어체
. It was so interesting a story.
. He is as great a poem as ever lived.
. It is too difficult a job for him to go on.
. How beautiful a girl!
